The Never-ending Pursuit !

Will a man EVER be content in his life?

I really don't know.

Why is that we have this wavering mind? Why do we fail to make ourselves feel content with what we have at the moment rather than being in a constant pursuit of so many materialistic things in life?

Like monkeys. we keep jumping from one branch to another throughout our life without settling in one. We are never  satisfied with the house,phone.car etc we have now. We always want more and more in life. Even an animal's gets it's appetite satisfied once it eats its prey. But we humans aren't. The more we eat, the more our appetite grows.

Is this what Life is all about?

Running behind these materialistic things ain't life.
Life is all about being content and happy with what one has.

Why buy 2,3 properties or 2,3 cars while you can be in only one place or use one car at a time ?
What do people achieve by acquiring all these stuff ?


                                               

One must keep in mind that materialistic things never bring us happiness.
We came to the earth empty handed and we will leave it the same way. Why should we be concerned about acquiring these silly things in the time in between ? One must never associate happiness with things.

Several years from now, when you look back at your past, the fancy houses you've bought or the cars or gadgets doesn't really bring the true, genuine happiness.
    Those intimate moments you've shared with your loved ones, the time you spent with your family, near and dear ones, those moments are the things that really matter in our life. Our past should be filled with full of such moments rather than the acquisition of these silly gadgets and materialistic things.

I don't know why the rich people love to lead a lavish life.
I mean.. Seriously !!

Why go for a hotel where in dinner costs 1000+ instead of going for a one where in you can literally have every item on the menu card and still leave the place with wads of money in your pocket.
Your tummy gets filled either way.
Hehe...I must appreciate our tummy. It never demands for a specific food unlike our mind. It just takes in what ever we feed it with. It always remains content. Why can't our mind  be content likewise ?

A 150 rupee shirt serves the same purpose as of a 1000 rupee raymond.
A 1 Lakh car serves the same purpose as of a 1 crore Ferrari or Lamborghini.

There is always this simple way of leading our life. But yet, we choose to lead it in a lavish fashion. What difference does it make?? That't the question !!

People out there are so mad. Very Mad.
 Mad about things, mad about others opinion, mad about impressing people.

Why should they be ??
Who cares if you walk on the streets in a jean bought at a thrift shop or in a Levi ! No one does.
Then why do we aim for the something though we have another thing which serves the same purpose as that of that something.

You just keep building floor after floor all your life. In the end, when you look down, all you can see is ... just you working your ass off, building those damn floors. Nothing else.You don't have any other worthwhile memories.
 Is that what you want in life?
Isn't life supposed to be greater than that?

Look at the below picture:

They don't have a proper shelter to call it as their home.
Some of them are orphans.
They don't have proper drinking water,electricity,those fancy gadgets... Hell they can't even afford a single day's meal.

Yet look at their faces. Those Smiles. That happiness they exhibit. Pure,Genuine,Un-adulterated Happiness.

They don't have anything but a huge happy heart.

I don't think any other picture could convey the fact that,  Happiness has nothing to do with the materialistic things, than this one.

I just want to ask this question to all those Filthy Rich fellows out there.

Why do you yearn for more and more things in life while in the end, you leave empty-handed.
Why this craze for money and things man ?? Why ?

Life is all about being there for your loved ones, spending time with them, making them happy, helping each other grow, share the happiness and sadness, sacrificing for the goodness of others, enjoying the beautiful nature that god has provided us.




There is this belief.
The moment you die, all your past flashes in your eyes for 20,30 seconds.
Make sure that those visions, those scenes you see are the beautiful moments you've shared with your near and dear ones throughout your life.
Trust me, if you see such stuff, you'll die with a smile plastered on your face :)
